With the ongoing recession and the onset of low season in Arizona, there are deals to be had at the numerous Scottsdale Hotels and Resorts. Tourism has suffered a major blow due to the recession, and Arizona has not escaped the pain. Many great hotels have been running specials all summer long.
As we enter the high season, the deals are likely to continue until the recession finally gives way. If you look hard and shop around you are sure to find a great deal. Many resorts and hotels are competing to bring in guests from the reduced number of travelers on the market.
What that means for you? Finding a good deal that haven't been around in years. You can go online and look at the prices at the various travel sites and see what kind of prices they are offering. You may also look at the hotels website directly.
Now if you want to try and negotiate a better deal, you are going to need to contact the hotel you stay at directly. They have more control over filling their vacancies and maybe willing to cut you a deal, you just have to ask. If bookings are way down, they may try and fill a few empty beds at a reduced cost.
You need to find the number of the hotels you want to stay at and call around. Sure it takes a bit more work than just going online and booking through Expedia, but if you want the best price it could be worth it.

Scottsdale Luxury Hotel - Hotel Indigo
There are definitely many options to choose from when looking for a Scottsdale Luxury Hotel. Scottsdale has become a hip and trendy spot to come vacation, layout by the pool, get some sun, take in some sights, play golf, and of course see and be seen. So where do those people stay? Well in the upcoming articles I will tell you. This first review is of the Hotel Indigo in Scottsdale.
This hotel is hip, sheik, boutique, and a great place to stay. It is right in Old Town Scottsdale near all the great restaurants and nightlife, aka bars and dance clubs. It has great rooms filled with amenities. A pool, and all the things that go with the trendy new boutique hotel scene. And last I heard it is still one of the places or resorts in Scottsdale that hasn't been put in foreclosure or gone into bankruptcy. Which is a good thing.
What those not familiar with the valley may not know, is that this trendy hotel used to be a Hampton Inn. That's right, a budget class accommodation is now a first class boutique hotel courtesy of a face lift. The past aside, whether it was a Hampton Inn or the new Hotel Indigo, the location can't be beat. It is within walking distance of all that is going on in Old Town. You really couldn't ask for a better location.
There is much more to say about this place, but I may have to wait and create a whole section on Hotel reviews. There I will compare and contrast all the things that the traveler is looking for, so you can make an informed decision.
Look to the Scottsdale Luxury Hotels to provide you with the best information before you book your accommodations in the valley of the sun.

Scottsdale Luxury Hotels - Resorts and Golf
Taking a vacation in Arizona brings to mind two things, Scottsdale Luxury Hotels and Golf. It is a jet set destination with the discriminating traveler in mind. Both of those things are what Scottsdale is known for and what it does very well. Putting the two together makes for an excellent week out. However if you are not a golf fan, there are more than enough things to do in Arizona while enjoying your time at a Scottsdale Luxury Hotel.
There are many different parts of Arizona, and in particular the valley of the sun. In each place you will find may top end accommodations. Whether you look in Phoenix, Chandler, Mesa, or any other place around the valley, I'm sure you will find a resort up to your high standards. However the pinnacle of places to stay is still Scottsdale.
Scottsdale has many great things to see and do besides golf. There is fine dining, you will find dozens if not hundreds of great restaurants in the area. You like steaks? Try Fleming's or Maestro's Steak house. How about Sea Food? The Ocean Club or the Fish House should fit the bill. Italian, Thai, Chinese, you name it and Scottsdale has it. Culinary delights to tantalize the tongue (I just wanted to write that).
Do you want bars and nightlife near your Scottsdale Luxury Hotel? Old Town Scottsdale has become a trendy destination for America's and Hollywood's elite. There are many discos, bars, and swanky lounges where you can waste the night away. A short cab ride back to your hotel will bring the night to a close.
Don't just concentrate on Old Town, there are many great bars in North Scottsdale as well. Try Devils Martini or the Blue Martini in the recently opened City North at Desert Ridge. They have a great crowd, that isn't filled with the 20 somethings. These places cater to customers of all ages and get a pretty great mix around the clock.
So you want to know where to stay. With so many choices of luxury hotels in Scottsdale, it is hard to just give a couple of recommendations. You need to ask yourself a couple of questions before deciding on your accommodations. Things like, what you like to do, what part of town you wish to stay in, and what is important to you.
The resorts in North Scottsdale, near Kierland and Desert Ridge are some of the favorites. You can get a place the the Kierland Westin or the J.W. Marriot and be right in the thick of things. Dining, Golf, and Nightlife. For those who wish for a little less city and a bit more desert you might consider looking at a place like The Boulders, which a little farther north. It is in the middle of the desert, but still just a tad outside of the city so you can still take a limo or taxi for a night of fun.
That's enough for now. Check back soon for some resort and hotel reviews and some more idealistic places to book your Scottsdale Luxury Hotel.
